| Innovative Auto Features to be Unveiled at Naias |

The North American International Auto Show is just around the corner and the auto industry is buzzing with excitement. The said event will be the stage where most major automakers will be unveiling their newest concept and production vehicles. Automakers will not be the only ones exhibiting at the event as other companies also involved in the auto industry will be present there.
Johnson Controls, a company which describes itself as "the global leader that brings ingenuity to the places where people live, work and travel", will be showcasing their newest innovative developments. The NAIAS will start with the media and invited guests present on Sunday, the thirteenth of January and the event will be opened to the public from the nineteenth of the month until the 27th.
According to The Auto Channel, this will be the 14th year that Johnson Controls will be exhibiting at the largest motor show in North America. The company will be occupying a 9,000-square feet of exhibition space. The said space will be used by the company to showcase its current and future products. Two press conferences are scheduled to be held by Johnson Controls. The first one will be on the 13th at 8:30 in the morning and the second will be on the 15th at 9:05 in the morning.
The company announced that they will be unveiling their newest innovative products in "seating, electronics and human-machine-interaction technology, interior safety and comfort, 'earth-friendly' products, interior craftsmanship and advanced battery solutions... interior sourcing, advanced batteries for hybrid-electric vehicles (HEVs) and systems targeting sustainability" at the two pres conferences.
Jeff Williams, Group Vice President and General Manager of North America for the Automotive Experience business at Johnson Controls, said that consumers are looking for more and more innovative auto features. "In the global auto industry, demand for systems and products that reflect innovation, ingenuity and smart design has never been greater than it is today," he said.
"With a commitment to 'Creating Smart Environments,' we acknowledge the importance of delivering products with features, functions and performance that are intelligently-crafted and well-integrated," continued Williams. "The ultimate goal is to provide innovative products and technology to our customers that enrich the experience of automotive consumers."
The company announced that they are about to unveil the I3 concept at the NAIAS. The name of the concept vehicle stands for ingenuity, integration, and interface. The I3 is actually a medium sized crossover plug-in hybrid vehicle. It means that it has a hybrid powertrain but its battery pack can be recharged using a common household socket. The said concept vehicle will be equipped with Johnson Controls newest products which are more advanced than Acura CL brake boosters.
